Background Information

Mr. Deeds was a 2002 American comedy film, staring Adam Sandler and Winona Ryder, directed by Steven Brill. The movie received poor reviews.

The soundtrack album contains “Sweetest Thing (Single Mix)” by U2 which is the same version of the song that had been released in 1998 as a single and on “The Best of 1980 – 1990” collection. The song is a remake of the 1987 version of the song which was included as a b-side on the single of “Where the Streets Have No Name”. The song is used in the film while the main characters are riding bikes near a water fountain.
