“Shadows In Tall Trees” is a title that was seen on a demo tape from U2 recorded in 1978. The title is likely a result of a typo on the demo tape, as lyric sheets and other references from that era all call the song “Shadows and Tall Trees”.

We have taken an in depth look at U2’s pre-Island Records demo sessions in two parts. Part One dealt with 1978 – February 1979.
