"Walk Out Into the Street" (2008)

Demo Song

Background Information

“Walk Out into the Street” is a fan generated title for a song from lyrics overheard. It is doubtful that U2 used this as a working title in studio.

In 2008 a fan recorded a number of songs being played from a beach on the South of France, near Bono’s home. The songs were of low quality and difficult to make out, but fans were able to give them names. The tracks circulated as “Walk Out into the Street” (“Breathe”), “Only Love” (“Magnificent”), “No Line on the Horizon”, “Moment of Surrender” and “Sexy Boots” (“Get On Your Boots”). All of these were fan created titles based on the small amount of lyrics and previously known information about the album.
