Background Information
“Shame on You (To Keep My Love From Me)” was Andrea Corrs’ first single from the album “Ten Feet High”. The single was pressed as a promotional CD and sent to radio stations, featuring an edit of the track done specifically for radio, but which also closes out the album. The track was the only song on the promotional release. Strangely the promotional CD does not mention Gavin Friday or Bono’s involvment in the project, perhaps to keep the focus on Andrea Corr. They are however credited as executive producer on the “Shame on You (To Keep My Love From Me)” commercial single, as well as on the album itself.
As well as a promotional CD with inserts, a CDR with just a paper sleeve was issued with the title track, as well as the album track “24 Hours”. The title track is indeed the “Radio Edit” but on this release is called the “Jeremey Wheatley Remix”.
