Move On Up (Studio Version II) – Angelique Kidjo featuring Bono and John Legend (3:13)

Background Information

Angelique Kidjo recorded the Curtis Mayfield song “Move On Up” for her 2010 album “ÕŸÖ” which was initially released in the UK in January 2010. That initial studio recording was (3:46) in length and featured John Legend alone on vocals. In March of 2010, in advance of the US release of the album, this promotional single was released with just one track, a shortened (3:13) mix of the song “Move On Up” and now instead of just John Legend it also features Bono on vocals. This new version of the song has been called “Studio Version II” for this discography.

The promotional single uses the same artwork as the album, and only the title on the front cover is changed. A subtitle on the cover lists “Featuring Bono & John Legend”. The CD itself is simple just text in white on a red background.

For more information on the song, and the video which was filmed for the song refer to the main entry for Kidjo’s “ÕŸÖ” album which featured this song.
