Background Information
Bono co-wrote the song “Angels for Each Other”, released by Martin Garrix and Arijit Singh on March 13, 2025. The other writers on the track include Garrix, Singh, as well as Simon Carmody, Shaun Farrugia, Michel Zitron and Juno. It was also Bono that urged Garrix to sing on the track, using his voice on his own music for the first time ever.
The commercial release arrived the same day as the first promotional release, which was a copy of the commercial release. Later, a slightly edited version of the song for radio was issued, as well as a three track promo the same week, in late April. The issue of these later promos corresponded with the commercial release of another song by Garrix and Singh, also co-written by Bono, called “Weightless“.
The promotional releases to date have been digitally distributed to DJs and radio stations, and there has not been a physical release to our knowledge.
