U2 EPs - All Types

An EP is short for Extended Play. Originally designed to be a format between singles and albums, with the move to digital streaming the definition of EP has shifted somewhat. Apple Music defines an EP as having four to six tracks, running under 30 minutes. In the UK, an EP is defined as 25 minutes or less, comprising of no more than four tracks not counting alternate versions. The Grammy Awards consider anything with five or more songs and a time greater than 15 minutes as an album. Often EPs will carry a unique name, and cover, and we use that as our guide to what is an EP.

Below we have included a list of U2's EPs, sorted by release date. It covers U2 releases from their earliest EP, "Three" to their most recent. They are broken down into physical releases available, digital only, and digital streaming only. (We have strayed from the strict definition in a couple of spots, but generally any release below has a unique title, separate from the tracks contained within.)
