Background Information

Released in the fall of 1991 prior to the release of the Achtung Baby album. The purpose of this promo was to remind people of U2’s previous work as a new album was dawning. There have been numerous promotional compilations of this sort done throughout the band’s career. The tracks released on this promo are the same as the album versions with the exception of Where the Streets Have No Name which is the single edit of the track.

Some press sheets circulated with this promotional CD list that this item is limited to 1000 copies.
