Background Information

This release at the end of 2009 consisted of the regular one disc versions of The Best of 1980 – 1990 and The Best of 1990 – 2000 combined together into one slipcase. The release was put together by Island Records UK and was sold throughout the Europe (pressed in Germany and France) and Japan. A much more limited version was sold specifically at FNAC stores in Belgium with different artwork on the slipcase. (Instead of a box as in Europe and Japan, the FNAC version was just a slipcase which held the two CDs.
