Background Information
Hit Mix was a 2001 compilation of music put together by Universal Music in Portugal. It included a mix of local and international artists, including U2.
The U2 track is listed as “Beautiful Day” (Remix) on the back sleeve of the disc. It is only when you look inside at the liner notes that it is identified as the Quincey and Sonance mix of the song. It is not the full length remix, but rather is the shortened edit of the track. This mix was released on a number of promotional releases in 2000, and on at least one other dance compilation, Pure Dance 2001.
Quincey & Sonance was a name for DJs CJ Agnelli and Robbie Nelson.
