Background Information
This boxed set was collected from Island Records artists throughout the years and put together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the label. The box contained either seven vinyl records or four cassette tapes. Each of the inner sleeves is printed, and textured, with information about the artists appearing on the release. A booklet included in the box also details each band and their history with the label. The U2 entry is accompanied by a photo from Zabriskie Point where the cover of The Joshua Tree was photographed. Bono can be spotted on the cover of the release, in the bottom left of the collage, and the U2 logo can be seen at the top right of the collage.
