Background Information
On March 14, 2005 The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame held their 20th Induction Ceremony at the Waldorff-Astoria Hotel in New York City. The inductees from the music business being inducted in 2005 were Buddy Guy, The O’Jays, The Pretenders, Percy Sledge, Frank Barsalona, Seymour Stein, and U2.
This CD was made up of tracks from the inductees, and in the case of Seymour Stein and Frank Barsalona acts that they had worked with during their careers. Three U2 tracks were featured on the release, the album versions of “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” and “Desire.”
Copies of the CD were given out at the Induction Ceremony to attendees of the Ceremony. Thus this CD was printed in limited quantities.
