This two part set was released in late 1987 to celebrate Island Records 25th anniversary. The notes inside the album make reference to U2 topping the charts in April 1987 with “With or Without You”.
The version of “With or Without You” included here is the same version that is found on “The Joshua Tree” album.
The album is titled “The Island Story” but is also subtitled “1962-1987 25th Anniversary”.
