- U2 are given the “Freedom of the City of Dublin” at a ceremony in the Smithfield Civic Plaza. (2000)
- U2 were scheduled to play in Auckland, NZ at Ericcson Stadium on this day, but the show was cancelled and rescheduled for later in the year. (2006)
- Three days are spent filming video in Fez, Morocco for the “Magnificent“ video. This is the day some of the footage was filmed. (2009)
