- The band’s first appearance on RTÉ is re-broadcast on a “Best Of” episode of Young Lines. The announcer explains that the band had originally appeared as The Hype, but have since changed their name to U2. The original appearance was March 2, 1978. (1978)
- On a chart dated June 1, “All I Want is You” peaks on the Official UK Charts at #4. (1989)
