- U2 debuts a new song live in concert, “Carry Me Home,” which will only be played at one other show, and never released. (1981)
- Due to a back injury, U2 had to cancel a planned concert for this day in Anaheim, CA at Angel Stadium. The date would be rescheduled in early 2011. The entire tour leg was cancelled. (2010)
