- U2 are due to play an open air concert at Blackrock Park in Dublin under the name The Hype, but they end up not playing the show after amps and rigging that was being rented for the event does not show. This was the second time U2 were scheduled to play this venue and did not. (1978)
- U2 hold their first ever concert in Denmark. (1982)
- U2 plan a full length concert stream over the internet of their show in Foxboro, MA, but the whole set up crashed after a few songs were played. (1997)
- A video for “I’ll Go Crazy if I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight“ is filmed in concert and at sound check in Barcelona. (2009)
