  • Originally U2 intended to play a show in Düsseldorf, Germany on this day, but the band cancelled 14 shows early in the tour to give them more time to rehearse the new material. (1984)
  • U2 provides a streaming webcast from the Elevation tour at Notre Dame University allowing users to view streaming video from the concert. A live audience of 5 million viewers tuned in. The concert was archived and made available on demand. (2001)
