30th Anniversary Edition of “Wildest Dreams” (Tina Turner)
Original Story by Aaron J. Sams (2026-04-08)
Rhino / Parlophone have announced plans for a 30th anniversary version of Tina Turner’s Wildest Dreams album, which will included newly remastered versions of the album tracks as well as many related tracks. To promote the release, the first song from the album, “Goldeneye (A/C Mix)” has been released to streaming services and download storefronts. (On many stores it is a standalone single, but on Apple Music it is available as part of the album instead.) The album is out June 26. The 2026 remaster of “Goldeneye (A/C Mix)” is available now.
“Goldeneye” was written by Bono and The Edge for the 1995 James Bond film of the same name, and they acted as executive producers of the song. The Edge also appears on the track, recorded at Olympic Sound in London with Nellee Hooper. Bono and The Edge were approached to write, but declined to perform the song. They recommended Turner for the vocals, and sent over demo recordings of the song for her to review.
Turner shared, “I just couldn’t really feel it at the time. Then I got a hand-written letter from Bono saying, `Tina, trust me, it’s rough at the moment, but it’s going to be great.’ I had to believe him. We live very near each other in the south of France, so he and Edge came up and finished it with me. Nellie Hooper came in with the arrangement. All of a sudden the song became. It was a matter of communicating and believing in each other.”
For the 30th anniversary release the album is being remastered, and is being released in a number of formats including a number of additional mixes of “Goldeneye”. The bonus materials are all listed as being remastered as well. Remastering is being done by John Webber of AIR Studios. The release will be available in high resolution audio as well, the first time these tracks have been available at that quality. The release of the preview of “Goldeneye” is at 48kHz and 24-bit.
The expected formats include:
- 2LP Remastered Vinyl: Included “Goldeneye”
- 2CD Expanded Edition: Includes “Goldeneye” on the main disc, “Goldeneye” (A/C Mix) and “Goldeneye” (Morales Club Mix) on the bonus disc.
- 4CD/1Blu-Ray Deluxe Edition: Includes “Goldeneye” on the main disc, “Goldeneye” (A/C Mix) and “Goldeneye” (Morales Club Mix) on the bonus disc, as well as “Goldeneye” (Live at Wembley) on a bonus audio disc. “Goldeneye” (Live in Amsterdam) is included on an included Blu-ray bonus disc.
- Digital Version of the 4CD version will be released, excluding the Blu-Ray content
The first preview track is the “Goldeneye” (A/C Mix) and it is available now. For stores where you can pre-order the album, the song is available as part of the album. In other sites that do not allow pre-orders, the song is available as a standalone single at this time.

- “Goldeneye” (Studio Version) [2026 Remaster] (03:27)
- “Goldeneye” (Urban A/C Mix) [2026 Remaster] (04:03)

Of these tracks, all have been released prior except for the Live at Wembley version of the song. (Note, some sites are listing the A/C mix as an acapella track, it is not, but rather one of the original mixes was titled the A/C mix back in 1995.)
Thanks to Tim for the heads up on this release.
