Bono Participates in Alicia Keys Audiobook, “More Myself”

Alicia Keys has written a book, and the audiobook version will feature some special guests, including some musical vignettes according to a new report from Rolling Stone.
Bono is one of the guests who will be contributing to the audiobook version of More Myself: A Journey. The book is being released on Tuesday, March 31st, with the book being released by Flatiron Books, and the audiobook being released by Macmillan Audio. Other guests include Jay-Z, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, and Keys’ husband Swizz Beatz.
The audiobook will use previously unreleased musical recordings to discuss Keys’ song development and recording process. The audiobook runs 9.9 hours, and is read by Alicia Keys.
The audiobook will be available as a digital download, as well as in a CD format. Bono’s participation has not yet been revealed, other than he is part of the guest line up for the audiobook. In 2005, Keys and Bono released a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Don’t Give Up“ for the Keep a Child Alive charity. Keys and Bono also joined together with others for a cover of the Beatles’ “Across the Universe“ in 2005.
