Did Live Nation Leak new Dates?

Early this afternoon fans report seeing posts on Live Nation’s Facebook and Twitter accounts:

“12 additional dates were added to U2’s U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere! General onsale begins this Friday here” with a link to the U2 section of Ticketmaster.

The text was accompanied by a U2:UV logo, which specified “Due to Overwhelming Demand, 12 New Shows Added, January & February 2024” – and also listed that the general sale would be Friday October 20 on Ticketmaster for all 12 shows.

We’ll have more news as soon as we are able to confirm anything. These shows have been rumoured for a while now. 25 shows have currently been scheduled ending on December 16. Twelve new shows would take the total to 37 shows. It is expected that these will start in late January and will follow a similar schedule to the current shows.

The posts have since been removed, and there is no new dates that have been announced at Live Nation, Ticketmaster or via U2.com.
