Holiday Offerings on SiriusXM

Next week there will be some new holiday-themed content debuting on U2 X-Radio, available on SiriusXM to subscribers of the station.

Up first is the Holiday Selection Box. This program will air at 9pm ET on Monday, December 21, and will be repeated through the week.

The program is a Holiday playlist curated by Adam Clayton. And he promises to share his, and U2’s holiday favourites through the station. Clayton recently shared a playlist of alternative Christmas favourites for Drake’s menswear and accessories, for their recent podcast. This playlist is not a repeat of that playlist and some songs not on the Drake’s playlist could be heard in the station promotion.

The second program is U2’s Christmas Vigil. This special will air at 7pm ET on Thursday, December 24. Yes, Christmas eve. It is unknown if it will repeat. The description of the program invited listeners to “light a candle and join U2 for a Christmas vigil, reflections, readings and more.” Bono could be heard reading from Psalm 100 in the promotion.

And last, but not least, tonight features a new episode of Gavin Friday Presents. This time it’s titled Gavin Friday Presents Silent Night and airs this evening at 11pm ET. The show is described as “a selection of songs to hold on to, and songs to make you feel good.” In the previous episode of Gavin Friday Presents it was called a Christmas special.
