Johnny Cash records U2’s One for Next Album

In a recent Roling Stone Interview, the man in black, Johnny Cash announced he has recorded a version of U2’s 1991 song, One for inclusion on his new album due this fall. The upcoming album will be his third album recorded for American Recordings with Producer Rick Rubin. At this point the album is acoustic, just Cash and a couple of guitars. In a recent private conversations with Mr. Cash, he has spoken highly of U2 on several occasions. His personal message to me, “Marry for love, not money and keep listening to good music.”, referring to U2.
