U2 on Fallon Tonight
Original Story by Aaron J. Sams (2017-09-07)
U2 appear on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this evening and while they were in New York they stopped at the Top of the Rock to take in the views:
We had a special surprise today when
U2</a> stopped by <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TopoftheRock?src=hash">#TopoftheRock</a>! Were you lucky enough to be on the observation deck with the band? <a href="https://t.co/0eSX1ReoOl">pic.twitter.com/0eSX1ReoOl</a></p>— Rockefeller Center (

The whole band was there, and the band played two songs at the taping of the show this evening, “You’re The Best Thing About Me,” and “Bullet the Blue Sky.” This will mark the live debut of “You’re The Best Thing About Me” in a live setting. It has yet to be played on the current tour, The Joshua Tree 2017 Tour.
The band performed in a skit on the show, and Bono and the Edge were interviewed.
For those wanting to watch this evening the show airs on NBC. Tonight is Thursday night football, so if you are planning on recording the show, add some time at the end in case football goes long.
