Zoo TV Cinema Titles, GA Lines, and other Updates
Original Story by Aaron J. Sams (2023-09-22)
The Zoo TV Cinema is a special theatre being installed in the Zoo Station experience at the Venetian. Today they started taking reservations for the films, and have revealed a number of titles. The theatre opens on September 28th to the public, but films will be shown a day earlier for U2.com Subscribers.
Below are the titles showing on the first four days of access:
- Surprise Content (1hr)
- Surprise Content (2hr)
- Linear / Squaring the Circle (1.5hr)
- U2360 Live at the Rose Bowl (1.5hr)
- Zoo TV Live from Sydney (1.5hr)
- Zoo TV Mini Docs (1hr)
- From the Sky Down (1.5hr)
- Making of The Unforgettable Fire (1hr)
- A Day in the Life of the Edge / Beyond the Tour (1.5hr)
- Vertigo: Chicago (1.5hr)
- U2 Go Home: Slane Castle (1.5hr)
What’s “Surprise Content”? It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if they told us, but hopefully it’s something exciting. That one is scheduled on the 27th from 4-6; on the 28th from 11:30 – 12:30, and again from 4-6.
Advance ticketing is available to U2.com subscribers (check your email, or login at U2.com and see their most recent story and to VIP package holders. Although ticketing is only available for the first four days of shows, there are plans to show these films throughout the entire run of shows, and you will be able to buy tickets to a later date at a later time for these showings. (We believe only VIP ticket holders for the first three shows were sent emails today.)
Advance ticketing is needed for the films only. Advance tickets are not being made available for the rest of the Experience. It is not known when ticketing will open to the general public for these films.
Three additional events have also been announced. You are able to RSVP for one of three special Zootopian fan gatherings. As a subscriber to U2.com you have access to these events. They will be held on various dates, and if there’s a large interest in these you can probably expect to see more.
- September 27: Zootopians in the UV Lounge
- October 6: Zootopians in the Fly Bar
- December 14: Zootopians Xmas Party
These events are first come, first served, so let them know if you are interested in meeting up with other fan club members at one of these parties via the email, or the story on U2.com.
Also, it’s been announced that Zootopians (aka U2.com subscribers) can get early access to Zoo Station on the first five show days, and on the last five show days. The exhibit opens at 11AM to the public, but subscribers get a special extra hour to shop and visit the exhibits ahead of any crowds.
General admission rules were also posted by the venue today. They have been posted here:

The beef of the message is: “Starting at 8:00am on each show day, sequentially numbered wristbands will be issued on a first come, first served basis for priority entry. A GA ticket will need to be presented in order to obtain a wristband. The wristbands will be distributed at the main concierge located next to the Plaza Entry, which is on the east side of the building. After receiving a wristband, guests are asked to leave and return no earlier than 5:30pm. Please note, for opening weekend only – September 29-30 – guests with GA wristbands may return beginning at 5:00pm. Overnight lines will not be permitted. Guests are not permitted to “hold” a place in line for other guests who are arriving later.”
Additional rules and information is found at the link above and should be reviewed.
The page also shares: “All GA ticket holders must enter via the East VIP Entry. This is the only entrance you may access with a GA ticket.”
There’s also now a guide to Mobile tickets that are in use at the Sphere. Please be advised that regardless of whether you bought your tickets via Ticketmaster, Ticketstoday, or Vibee, or are in a Suite, you will HAVE TO add your tickets to your digital wallet on a phone. Please visit the page below to see the instructions provided for these different sales methods to ensure your tickets are transfered into your digital wallet.

We are a week out from the first show. The suspense is building, and we’re sure in the week ahead that there will be spoilers. As a warning, we’d like to remind you, we will mark any songs played as spoilers up until the first show. After that we tend to relax on things. We will be live streaming on Twitter, so there will be live spoilers as the show happens there. Please be aware.
One question we are seeing is how do I listen in if I can’t get to Vegas. Fans have long used a program called Mixlr to let others “into the sound” and this tour is no different.
Here’s a few accounts to check out in the early days: mysteriousdays, u2start, sherry5160, u2gigs and we hope to be using our account at u2songs for a few of the first five shows. If you know of others, please give us a shout. The above all have signaled an intention to cover at least some of the first five shows. We’ll try to share accounts as they pop up on Twitter on show nights as well.
