U2 Radio Shows

Introduction

Radio shows are promotional only items, sent to radio, usually containing interviews, live music or sometimes alternate edits of tracks. These are not products of the record label, i.e. Island Records, and are instead issued by different Radio Networks. At this time we have just started this section, and will be focusing on radio shows with live content to start. We will expand in the days ahead to cover studio material and interview content. Island Records issued promos can be found at the bottom or in our main discography. (This section is still being constructed, so a few elements may look a little off, but will be fine tuned in the days to come.)

By Format

Radio shows for U2 started out predominantly on vinyl until the end of the 1980s when CDs gained in popularity. Below you can find our full list of radio shows by format. Below we separate them based on whether they contain live music, or are a collection of studio tracks / interview content.
