U2 are advertised as playing Rag Week at the Kevin Street College of Technology. This is a lunch time show. U2 are scheduled to play from 1-2pm on the Wednesday afternoon. Other local bands such a Rocky de Valera and the Gravediggers, The Lookalikes, D.C. Nein, Revolver and the Bogey Boys all play their own shows during the week. Admission to the U2 show was £1.50 in advance from the Student Union, or £2.00 at the door. No opening act is mentioned.

Rag Week is a week where universities organize various events, and the money raised is donated to charity.
