Not much is known about this show but the admission fee for the show is £2.00. The venue is listed as the R.T.C. in Waterford in the tour announcement. The set list is mostly unknown.

The show sees U2 getting a guaranteed fee of £300. The show was put on by Maurice Cassidy Promotions. The show was reported a sell out, and 400 people attended the concert.

Eoin Ronayne who booked the show remembers that the show was a bit of a risk, and that the costs were significant for a show at that time. He also interviewed the band for WLR ahead of the concert. He shares that he didn’t stay for the gig itself, just helped set up, and then headed out for a Horslips show in Dublin, but he was told the show was great.

During the show U2 have issues with members of the audience trying to get up on stage. One is removed by bar security, and ends up back in U2’s dressing area, and makes off with some of the band’s things including a jacket of Bono’s.
