The F-Club or Fan Club was a series of musical events in Leeds in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In order to keep customers coming back to gigs, the promoter came up with a scheme where they charged patrons a membership fee which allowed them to get into later gigs a little cheaper. The Fan Club started out at Leeds Polytechnic and then later moved to local clubs, The Ace of Clubs from October – December 1977; Roots from February 1978 – September 1978; Brannigans on Call Lane from October 1978 – March 1981; and starting in March 1981, on Sundays at Tiffany’s in Merrion Centre, and on Thursdays at Brannigan’s. The events were promoted by promoter John Kennan who also promoted the Futurama Festivals, of which U2 also played a role.

Not much is known about this particular show, there is no record of opening act or attendance. A set list is known, and the venue, although the set list may only be a partial record of the songs played.
