After their UK dates on the Boy tour finished, U2 play three additional shows, opening for the Talking Heads. The first two shows are in London, and the third in Paris. For the shows in London, U2 take the stage between Boots for Dancing and the Talking Heads as the second act of the night. Tickets for the show are sold at various price points £3.50, £3.00 and £2.50.

The first night in London is at the Hammersmith Odeon, Queen Caroline. They had played their first show, the night before at the Hammersmith Palais. There has been some confusion on the two because of the venue names, but a poster from the event clearly shows that the December 2 show is at the Odeon. And this is confirmed by a review by Allan Jones in Melody Maker magazine of the first night.

U2’s set list is unknown. They play additionals show with the Talking Heads, in France, and this is their last date in the UK for a while as they will head to North America after the shows in France.
