Show Details:

U2 play a club in Rotterdam. The club is not full, and some reports say that it was about 200 people in attendance. The band plays the same main set as the night before in The Hague, and for the encore return to do “11 O’Clock Tick Tock” and “The Ocean” – it is possible that they also played “Out of Control” which was played the night before, but we have been unable to confirm that song was played. During the show Bono has issues with one punk spitting at the band, and some audience members claim he got tired of this and threw a beer back at the punk, although others say they did not see this happen. This show did not take place at the Lantaren as many sites claim. This is an error that has been confirmed by many who were in attendance on the night at Eksit. U2 did play Lantaren when they returned later in 1981. The show was advertised in local press with a start time of 22:00.
