U2 play their first show ever in Switzerland at the Salle du Faubourg in Geneva as part of the Boy tour. And at the time of this writing, it is the only time that the band has played Geneva to date. The band played a late show the night before in Munich, and have difficulties on the journey to Munich the next day, being stopped at the border by customs agents, and blocking them from bringing all of their equipment into the country. The concert promoter loans U2 a drum kit prior to the show, and U2 return to gather their own equipment on the way to Paris. Little is known about the concert itself other than the venue.
