Not much is known about this show that U2 performed in Lubbock Texas.

Opening act Adam Stone was a local Lubbock band, and they hung out with U2 prior to the show and at sound check that afternoon. The guitarist with the band, Kelly Turner, said that the show was attended by about 50 people, and that they were impressed with U2 and that Bono had put all his energy into the show.

U2 Live relates a story that Paul McGuinness had asked to be paid in cash rather than by cheque at one of the Texas shows they were playing, likely this one, and in response the owner pulled a gun saying U2 would take the cheque just like everyone else.
