The opening act in Cardiff was Comsat Angels and the entrance fee was £3.00.

Thanks to the photographer Martin Briggs, we have been able to see a picture of the setlist for the show. While the first track is obscured, it’s safe to guess it was “Gloria”, and then we can see “Another Time,” “Rejoice,” “An Cat Dubh,” “Into the Heart,” “Brick,” “Cry / Electric Co.,” “I Fall Down,” “October,” “Stories for Boys,” “Follow,” “Twilight,” “Out of Control”. Like other shows at the time the band would not plan a written encore, so the songs played in the encore remain unknown. But the show in Brighton a few nights previous had a similar main set and the encore consisted of “Fire,” “11 O’Clock Tick Tock,” and “The Ocean.” Briggs mentions that the band had played “Gloria” and “Fire” in an interview with a local news broadcast.

As no recording has surfaced, details are restricted to attendees memories and details such as the photographs by Briggs. Bono did throw a bucket of water onto the crowd from the stage, part of the stage actions he’s been doing often on this tour. The image of the poster for the show above is also by Martin Briggs.

The book U2 Live lists attendance at this show at 1900, although this may be high as later events would place the club capacity at 1500.
