Show Details:

The band played “Ordinary Love” and “Volcano” for the second time on this tour. Both are new additions to the tour having debuted in Inglewood at the recent final show. “Volcano” is done complete with a woman on stage filming the show using Meerkat while Bono plays up to the camera phone in front of him. “Ordinary Love” wasn’t planned tonight, and the original set list distributed on stage included “Elevation” instead, but was updated just prior to showtime. Bono joked during the show that they needed to rehearse it.

“Do You Remember Rock ‘n’ Roll Radio” made an appearance in “Vertigo”, and “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” shows up at the end of “Sunday Bloody Sunday”. “Love and Peace or Else” makes a brief appearance in “Until the End of the World”, “Young Americans” appears in “Mysterious Ways”, and “The Hands that Built America” makes an appearance during the segue between “Bullet” and “Pride”. “Mother and Child Reunion” leads into “Streets” which also includes a reference to “California (There is No End to Love)”. The “There is no them” lyrics are added to “One” tonight, and there’s also a short reference to “With or Without You” tonight in “Beautiful Day”, “see the stone set in your eyes…”

The Denver shows were added late to the schedule, announced in March. Originally the hope was to add more shows in Inglewood, California, but sales only allowed for five shows in total. The second show in Denver was announced as the first show sold out, announced on March 24. Presales took place starting on March 26 via U2.com, with the general sale starting on March 30.

The upper level seats are blacked out tonight with curtains, and fans expecting to sit in those sections are told they are being moved to seats elsewhere due to sightline issues. Although these seats are not sold, the show is still listed as a sell out, as these tickets were removed from sale by the production ahead of the show for blocked views of the screen. (Although at earlier shows, some of these tickets were sold.)
