Show Details:

The Starmus festival in 2016 was dedicated to the life and legacy of Stephen Hawking. The third annual festival took place in the Canary Islands, and included nearly 1200 attendees over the week titled “Beyond the Horizon: A Tribute to Stephen Hawking”.

The conference saw a special recorded message from Bono and The Edge played to participants. Bono and The Edge appear on screen. Bono introduces the performance saying they will perform poetry by Pablo Neruda. The Edge then recites the poem, “Poetry” over the backing music from “Your Blue Room”.

Bono and the Edge then join in to sing “Your Blue Room” over the backing track. Brian Eno can be heard on the backing track but is not seen in the video.
