TXFM (105.2), formerly Phantom FM, an indie / alternative station in Ireland, said goodbye on October 26, 2016. U2 got in on the farewells sending a brief musical farewell to the station, which was shared via Lindsey Holmes Publicity. The music is U2’s “American Soul” which wouldn’t be released for another year, and over top Bono is speaking, “T-X-F-M, T-X-F-M, ha! Thank you. Thank you. TX from U2.”
