Show Details:

The second of two nights and U2 mixes up the set with the introduction of a number of new songs making their European debut on this leg.

“Gloria” holds the fourth spot, appearing for the first time since the band moved to Europe. Instead of “The Ocean” the sixth song was “The Unforgettable Fire” Which was followed by “Stay (Faraway, So Close)” and “Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses”. “Wild Horses” appeared for only the second show on this tour. Both “Stay” and “The Unforgettable Fire” appeared in regular tor rotation back on the U2360 tour. “Stay” is performed by the full band.

U2 has been practicing a fourth, yet to debut song, along with “Stay,” “The Unforgettable Fire” and “Wild Horses”, that song has yet to make its debut.

The band are celebrating 40 years with Joe O’Herlihy tonight. The crew are wearing shirts listing this, Edge is wearing a Joe O shirt for the encore, and Bono dedicates “One” to Joe.
