After appearing earlier in the night to accept his Fulbright Award, Bono attends a birthday celebration for Senator Patrick Leahy and sings “Happy Birthday”. Bono had mentioned Leahy and wished him happy birthday earlier during his acceptance speech at the award ceremony as well. The dinner was attended by a number of other politicians including Senator Amy Klobuchar and Senator Chris Coons. The dinner was attended by about 40 people in total.
