After spending a day in Kyiv, Ukraine, while the country is under attack by neighboring Russia, Bono and Edge do one final performance. Upon returning to the train to take them out of Ukraine, Bono and The Edge do a performance on the train, singing “People Get Ready”, which is captured on video and shared on the internet by Ukrainian Railways chief Alexander.Kamyshin. It is not know if they did any additional music.

During the day they gave a 40 minute performance in a Metro Station in Kyiv, which had doubled as a bomb shelter in recent attacks. They performed nine songs for about 100 people. Bono and The Edge also visited the site of a mass grave near the Church of St. Andrew Pervozvannoho All Saints in the Ukrainian town of Bucha, near Kyiv.

At the end of the song Bono shared, “Thank you so much for taking us to safety. More importantly, thank you for taking so many people to safety over the past few months. You’ve saved so many lives and are heroes to all of us” and The Edge thanked them for their heroism.
