Show Details:

Bono and The Edge perform for the NPR Tiny Desk series. The performance takes place at the National Public Radio Headquarters located in Washington DC.

In advance of the concert representatives from U2 were searching for a choir to perform in the Washington DC area. The choir used was composed of teens from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington DC. They appeared in studio with Bono and the Edge for the performance, but did not feature on all songs.

The Tiny Desk series on NPR Music started in 2008, and sees performers appearing at the desk of All Things Considered host, Bob Boilen. More information on the series can be found here.

The performance was filmed and we’ve been told that this Tiny Desk concert will air on the day that Songs of Surrender comes out, March 17, 2023, making for a busy St. Patrick’s Day with the Letterman special also airing the same day.
