Video Information

This newer version of the video for “Discothèque” was released on the compilation The Work of Director Stephane Sednaoui released in 2005 by Palm Pictures as part of a DVD series focusing on directors. U2’s “Mysterious Ways” and “Discothèque” are both included on the compilation, and “Discothèque” is marked as a ‘new director’s cut’ on the packaging.

The “Discothèque” video is much the same as the one we’ve known, however there are added video effects when Bono is singing into the camera which brings the focus into his face. These pop up at multiple locations throughout the video.
