Video Information
In 2019, on the occasion of their first trip to India, U2 enlisted the skills of Indian DJs to remix four of their songs. The remixes were released as “The Eternal Remixes“ EP in advance of the tour stop in India. In December 2019, the DJ Lost Stories produced his own video for his remix of “Love is Bigger Than Anything in its Way“ that featured on the EP. Almost a year later, Karsh Kale posted a video for his remix of “Pride (In the Name of Love)” to his social media channels. Kale’s video features the recording of voices for his own mix of the song, cut with scenery from India, and images of Ghandi.
On his Facebook post Kale explains, “I was blessed ro be asked by U2 to make rhis remix of Pride ( Karsh Kale 100 Voices Mix) in honor of Mahatma Gandhi so I asked many of my fellow collaborators to join . The video was produced by Rafique Sayed and directed by Ankita Neverkarand features the voices of Salim Merchant , Vishal Dadlani, Apeksha Dandekar, Malini Awasti , Kutle Khan, Komorebi , Kamakshi Khanna , Benny Dayal , Sukanya Chattopadhyay, Ajay Prasanna, Raj Pandit, and an amazing childrens Choir …… and me of course …..
