Video Information

In 2025, U2 made a series of lyric videos available for songs that had not previously been widely released as singles. These videos were made available via YouTube, but were also made available to purchase / stream on other services such as Apple Music. The video for “The Showman (Little More Better)” was the eighth video in the series, and uses the album mix of the song.

The video is made up of the lyrics of the song, in a similar style as previous videos. Footage of U2 playing the song live in the background can be seen throughout the video. Since the song was never performed live in tour, this footage from the Experience and Innocence tour in 2018 is taken from other songs being performed.

In the weeks leading up to the release of this video “The Showman” performed by Bono with the Jacknife Lee Ensemble was released as part of the “Stories of Surrender” EP, featuring songs taken from the film of the same name.
